1、Directing research activities in delivering novel, high quality drug candidates；
2、Developing strong cross-functional relationships with Chemistry, Quantitative Biology, PKDM, Toxicology, and Translational Sciences within Lilly Global to coordinate all activities for candidate selection；
3、Establishing collaborations with both academic and industry partners to identify novel opportunities for treating diabetes and related metabolic disorders；
4、Building and leading the best team by example and by attracting, developing, and retaining scientific talent。

1、PhD or MD degree in relevant fields and at least 10 years‘ drug hunting experience, including lead identification, lead optimization, and candidate generation；
2、Proven track record of achievements in scientific excellence and candidate delivery；
3、Proven ability to develop and lead a diverse team of scientists with excellent managerial and communication skills；
4、Strong leadership skills and the ability to nurture a culture that values diversity and inspires teamwork。
