1、Initiate and direct design and synthesis of bioactive small molecules for drug discovery programs；
2、Direct involvement of experiments in the chemistry laboratory；
3、Progress medicinal chemistry program through in-depth structural activity/property relationship analysis, and structural-guided drug design；
4、Execute hypothesis driven compound design and synthesis；
5、Monitor timeline and deliverable of projects, and drive program to candidate selection or to decision point；
6、Extensive participation in project team, and cross functional activities locally and globally。

1、Ph.D. degree in organic chemistry and/or medicinal chemistry；
2、Minimal 7 years of drug discovery experience in a pharma/biotech；
3、Proven ability to move compound from discovery to candidate selection highly preferred；
4、Highly productive in a chemistry laboratory setting；
5、Expert knowledge in medicinal chemistry; extensive knowledge in compound design to address potency, efficacy and ADMET issues；
6、Experience on solving complex problem, and exercising judgment to obtain decision making data；
7、Demonstrated ability to communicate cross-functional teams and to define, represent, and champion project strategy to internal decision-makers；
8、Excellent interpersonal skills reflecting leadership and the ability to create a work climate that values diversity and inspires teamwork。
