1、Drive the department’s engagement and efforts in developing, implementing, and constantly updating relevant new technology required to NN R&D projects with state-of-the art tools in process development and pilot production；
2、Network scientifically with the stakeholders within BRU/DRU focus area and ensure through coordinating cross-functional stakeholders in BRU, DRU, and CMC；
3、Be active in promoting cross DRU, BRU, CMC activities/exchanges at NNRCC, whenever opportunities for synergies can be identified； 
4、Take responsibility of occupational Health and Safety in Mini-pilot。

1、Ph.D. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biochemical Engineering or relevant sciences； 
2、Knowledge within USP, DSP and protein drug development programs； 
3、5+ years post doctorate hands-on experience with process development and scale up of proteins and peptides,especially proteins from E.coli；
4、Excellent track records in either USP or DSP of protein production in a pilot facility or equivalent, preferable in industry；
5、Familiar with current advancement and trend in process development, and pilot-scale technology； 
6、Project and people management experience；
7、Excellent verbal and written skills in English；
8、Excellent interpersonal communication skills in building consensus cross-functionally；
9、Cross-functional network within R&D (especially BRU, DRU, and CMC)。
